Salida, Colo. – The 6th Annual Salida Omnium, hosted by South Central Racing/Amicas Cycling Club, will be held July 30-August 1, 2010, in Salida, Colorado. The Salida Omnium has become known as one of the best competitive cycling events in Colorado attracting over 500 elite and amateur Senior, Masters, Juniors and Paralympic athletes from the region. The Salida Omnium has seen Olympic and World Champions including Tyler Phinney, Jeanne Longo, and Alison Dunlap. The Salida Omnium begins with a Friday night time trail, a Saturday figure-eight criterium in historic downtown Salida and finishes with a Sunday Road Race.

The endurance men have been calling Burnaby home since the end of June where they have been pushing each other to get fitter, stronger, and faster. They traveled to Portland, Ore., this past weekend to compete in the Alpenrose Challenge.
