Taiwanese Association Offers $6,000 for Information About Hit-and-Run that Killed Mike Wang
May 16, 2012 Seattle, Wash. - The driver of a brown SUV gunned it to make a quick left across two lanes of general traffic plus a bike lane on Dexter Ave last July. Tacoma and Snohomish Join the Ranks of Bicycle Friendly Cities
May 16, 2012 Seattle, Wash. - The League of American Bicyclists (LAB) announced its 2012 round of new and renewing Bicycle Friendly Communities and the Washington communities of Tacoma and Snohomish joined the ranks at the bronze level. North American Enduro Tour
May 15, 2012 The 2012 North American Enduro Tour (N.A.E.T.) is back and going bigger in its second year. The N.A.E.T. is designed to gather athletes at many of the continent’s best race venues for the rapidly growing mountain bike discipline of Enduro racing. This year’s partnered events include the Canadian Open Enduro as part of Crankworx Whistler, the Santa Cruz/Shimano Oregon Enduro Series, the Specialized Enduro as part of the Colorado Freeride Festival in Winter Park and Utah’s Bell Wasatch Enduro taking place at Canyons Resort in Park City. Most of these races emerge on world-class bike parks throughout North America, with the exception of the Oregon Series, which is unique in it’s own right by using the state’s best trails that are tucked deep in the rugged Cascade mountains all via shuttle. Gates Carbon Drive Creates a Belt Drive Mountain Bike Team
May 10, 2012 Building on the success of its singlespeed cyclocross team, Gates Carbon Drive has created a singlespeed belt-drive mountain bike team. Team Gates Carbon Drive MTB will compete primarily in Colorado, with plans to attack the Rocky Mountain Endurance Series, the Winter Park Race series, the Breckenridge 100 and the USAC Mountain Bike 24-Hour National Championships, among others. Kaiser Permanente Signs $100,000 Grant to Support Sunday Parkways
