New Date for 2013 Tour de Victoria

The third annual Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria powered by GoodLife Fitness will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2013.
"After two successful years of hosting the Tour de Victoria in late spring, we’ve decided to shift the event to September. We’re hoping the fall date will help to extend participants’ summer training season, allow riders to link in with other fall cycling events in the Pacific Northwest and enable the Tour’s namesake, Ryder, the opportunity to attend the event. Plus, September is usually a warm and dry month in Victoria, making it a beautiful time for cycling' says Event Director, Seamus McGrath.
"Thanks to everybody who participated in the 2012 Tour and I look forward to seeing familiar and new faces on the start line in 2013 for some world class cycling!"
Distances and start points
In 2013, the Tour de Victoria will keep the same courses and start points. All three distances will finish in Victoria at the BC Legislature.
League 140km – Victoria
Island Savings 100km – Langford
Ryder Hesjedal’s 50km - North Saanich
2012 Giro d'Italia winner, Ryder Hesjeal is excited about the date change and the opportunity to ride again with the participants.
