Need to get motivated? Looking for some inspiration? Join Tacoma Bike for a one-time only evening on January 19 with friend of the store, Steve Swanlund. This is set to be a great event to get you going for the New Year whether you plan on an Ironman or a commute to the office in 2012.
"We have been impressed and inspired by Steve's progress every time he comes into the shop and are excited to be able to offer you this opportunity to hear his story," says Tacoma Bike owner, Mike Brown.
Here's a taster of Steve's story - "I have been married for 26 years, am the father of three. I have owned 15th Street Automotive in Puyallup with my wife for 10 years now. After a 20-year layoff from any fitness related activity I decided I needed to make healthier decisions and loose some weight. A couple years later I decided I was going to run a marathon, that progressed into triathlon which progressed to Ironman. I competed in two Ironmans this year with a PR of 10:52:12 and qualified for the Boston Marathon."
Spaces are limited. Please call Tacoma Bike at 253-272-1351 to reserve your seat. Visit www.tacomabike.com for more information.
