2012 Northwest Epic Series Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for three of the 2012 NW Epic races. Registration opened 1/1/2012 and Stottlemeyer already was filled 20% in just two days, Echo and Capitol Forest about 10%. 2012 is going to be an Epic year!
The Other Dates are Set:
- 5/19 Stottlemeyer 30/60 Mile
- 6/9 Echo Valley 30/60 Mile
- 8/25 Capitol Forest 50/100 Mile

2012 Ft. Steilacoom Trail Duathlon Series
The 3rd annual Ft. Steilacoom Trail Duathlon Series starts now, and the first race is January 7! Preregistration ends this Thursday at midnight. Day of registration is available for $5 more.
Two course options are offered: Long Course (5K run, 15-mile bike, 5K run) and Short Course (5K run, 5-mile bike). You can race solo or with one teammate, (see race website).
$100 prize money from VO2Multisport goes to the first place male, female and team (overall long distance series winners). There will b well-stocked aid stations, finish line buffet plus great swag and prizes from sponsors.

Update: For those that are interested, bring an extra $5 to the race and enter yourself into the Rainier Beer Hot Laps "Bike Only" Competition. We will provide you with a timing chip that will be used to time each of your bike laps. Each lap with be ranked by fastest time per category and rewarded with a refreshing bounty of mountain fresh Rainier Beer Tall Boy(z) (lap 1 - 1 deep/cat; lap 2 - 2 deep/cat; and lap 3 - 3 deep/cat). We will also enter each Hot Lap's participant into a lottery for a chance to win a 6-pack of Rainier Beer Tall Boyz (6 tickets will be pulled).
