Sci'Con Introduces Aeron[a]ut Saddlebag
November 22, 2011
Sent to Bicycle Paper from Gary Medley
Oxnard, Calif – In 2011, Sci'Con created a new breed of saddlebag – the Aeron[a]ut. Imported exclusively by Albabici, the Aeron[a]ut rewrites the rules of saddlebag design, as it's much more than an ordinary saddlebag. It combines an aerodynamic, compact shape with unmatched durability and protection from the elements.
Aerodynamics: For the first time, riders can benefit from a saddlebag tool case that is perfectly integrated with the bike. Although the shape seems simple and smooth, aerodynamic research guided the Aeron[a]ut's development – ensuring perfect aerodynamic balance while riding.
Protection: The fiberglass shell guarantees a secure transportation for all your goods, even for the most fragile ones. The outer Silicon Skin compresses and stabilizes all the tools on their place.
Design and Technology: With a compact size and smooth edges the Aeron[a]ut is an aesthetic delight. Its unique shape is made with a bi-injection technology by using the most advanced plastic materials.
Space Research: Ultra-thin thickness and zipper-less construction allow a considerable reduction of material that increase the inner volume of the bag. Every millimeter was studied to avoid wasting space. Thanks to his stretchable chassis it can fit two road or one MTB inner tube.
User Friendly: Over the past decade, the Sci'Con Roller System has made life easier for thousands of cyclists. With a simple, quick twist, the rider hears a “click” that ensure the bag is released or fixed! No tools are needed – just one hand.
Easy and Washable: The ¾ opening of the Silicon Skin is the quickest way to load a tool case. Finally riders don’t have to worry about getting the bag dirty. Aeron[a]ut is made of a dirt-proof smooth surfaces and it is easy to wash. Click for more on the Aeron[a]ut.
