Seattle Bicycle Music Festival This Saturday, September 11

Guaranteed to rock your bicycle world, the Seattle Bicycle Music Festival is happening this Saturday, September 11, 2010. This is a locally crafted and produced event. Handcrafted with bicycle love for your auditory and visual pleasure. Featuring a massive pedal-powered PA system designed and engineered right here in Seattle by bicycle friends and neighbors. You asked for sustainable energy and this is it! This family-friendly event is FREE, so bring your kids, your friends, your grandmothers, and their friends. And of course BRING YOUR BICYCLE!
And, if you have absolutely no interest in music, it’s also EDUCATIONAL. See sustainable energy produced right before your very own eyes, and learn how YOU can use this amazing technology to power your own devices.
The festivities start at Bergen Place, in Ballard (at the intersection of Leary Ave, 22nd Ave NW, and NW Market St).
9 – 10 a.m. - Leaf Colors
10:15 – 11:15 a.m. - Ethan J. Perry
11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. - Ride bikes to the next location! Denny Park (corner of Dexter / Denny, downtown)
1:15 – 2:15 p.m. - Three Ninjas
2:30 – 3:30 p.m. - The Mongrel Jews
3:45 – 5 p.m. - No Rey
5:30 – 6:30 - p.m. - Ride bikes to the next location - Cal Anderson Park.
6:30 – 7:30 p.m. - Orkestar Zirkonium
7:30 – 8:30 p.m. - Manigua Band
8:45 – 10 p.m. - Goose Vargis
