Tacoma Bike Giving Back
September 1, 2010
Tacoma Bike, recently voted "Best Bike Shop 2010" in the Volcano readers’ best of, is giving a little something back this weekend with their first ever Labor Day sale. It will run Thursday through Monday with huge reductions on bikes, apparel, accessories and more. Just in time for your winter training bike or to stock up ready for those off-season repairs.
In addition, Tacoma Bike is proud to have provided the bicycles for staff at the soon-to-open Center for Urban Waters on East D Street (Grand opening September 9th). Employees at the center will be able to cycle short trips round town instead of getting in their cars and adding to Downtown traffic. Mike Brown of Tacoma Bike said, "We're really pleased to have been asked and to be able to make this ongoing contribution to cycling in the city."
