The bike ride will be a 36-mile journey from Mission Park in Spokane to Riverstone Park in CDA. After the ride there will be a community picnic to award prizes. Registration fee is $20.00 which includes a shirt and one picnic ticket. Picnic tickets are $10 for those attending the picnic and not riding.
Pancreatic cancer has the highest mortality rate of all the major cancers and is the 4th leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. Only 26% of pancreatic cancer patients survive the first year after diagnosis because there are no early detection tests. Only 4% survive five years or longer.
Please help to raise money so we can learn more about this disease.
The next volunteer meeting will be on August 10th at Kootenai Medical Center, classroom 2 at 6 p.m. Contact dangle@pancanvolunteer.org or call 208-512-1192 for volunteer information.
