"The Atom Comp is completely new from the ground up," states Dana Carson, GM of Hutchinson North America, "it's super light, our engineers have been able to add polyamid flat protection from bead-to-bead, and we're offering more color options than ever before. This is a true top-of-the-line tire for non-tubular wheels."
The Atom Comp retails for $60, and is designed to dominate the Michelin Pro3 Race, Schwalbe Ultremo R, and other competitors in the high-end road market.
"The RadioShack team has been using the Atom Comps when they run clinchers, and have given "thumbs way up!" for the straight ahead speed and corner-grabbing characteristics of the Atom Comp." continues Carson. "We can't wait for the rest of the serious road riders in America to experience the difference."
