50 mile out-and-back in beautiful high altitude (above 9,000') mountains and valleys of Leadville. Highest point is the Columbine Mine Aid Station at 12,600'. Mostly double-track dirt roads with steep climbs and tough descent. Last 7 miles to turn-around point is uphill. 12-hour limit. Max 6 entries per group, lottery registration. Limit 750 riders, send entries by end of January.
